Resource Introduction: Peter Quill (Chris Pratt) is a human who was abducted to outer space as a child. Under the guidance of his adoptive father Yondu (Michael Rooker), he became the ultimate rogue, calling himself "Star-Lord." During a mission, he steals a mysterious orb, making him the target of bounty hunter Rocket Raccoon (voiced by Bradley Cooper) and tree creature Groot (voiced by Vin Diesel), while the mysterious Gamora (Zoe Saldana) also has her sights set on the orb. After a series of humorous and challenging encounters, Star-Lord is forced to team up with these three, along with the vengeful Drax the Destroyer (Dave Bautista), to escape the wrath of the Accuser Ronan (Lee Pace). However, this mysterious orb possesses immense power, and the team must unite to confront Ronan if they hope to save the entire galaxy, leading to the birth of the Guardians of the Galaxy.
